Capillaries - 8.16

It’s very still this morning, as if the trees are suspended in an acrylic atmosphere

Their limbs and leaves barely move, being delicately played by nature as to not wake those asleep

The creatures are quiet, with the morning overcast giving them comfort and coziness to sleep in

With the air being so still, the smell of artificial surfaces drying out from overnight showers lingers in the air

The creaminess of milk subtlety blends together with the coffee to create a smooth journey through my body, gently passing through with a softness like silk

The temperament of the atmosphere and the environment feels very gentle, an almost lukewarm experience offset from the rapid fluctuations of breath from my nostrils contacting my skin

The colors of the trimmed tree branches display an earthy gradient fading from a dark green to black, unevenly dancing between the two

Perhaps the plants are satiated from the previous days rainfall, so full they could barely move before falling asleep so they can digest and process nutrients

As the birds and other creatures start to awaken, their presence and existence and playfulness and curiosity reflect back on my own parts containing the same energy, like an old friend knocking on the door to see if they are home

While at the start of today I do not feel 100% comfortable, I do know the parts that do will provide compassion and assistance to the others to have a fulfilling existence
